How do I become a MYLOS Client?
Great question! Our signup process is simple and straightforward. First, you browse and add items to your cart. Then, you can checkout via your preferred payment option. Once your order is placed, we’ll begin processing it and you’ll receive a couple of onboarding emails with instructions on how to access our client portal and when to expect your first service. If your order is placed outside of business hours, it will be processed upon our return the next business day.
What does a mowing service include?
For our mowing service, we include mowing, trimming, and edging all existing turf areas on the property. After each service, we use our backpack blowers to clear all non-turf areas of loose grass clippings. Please note that only existing turf areas are serviced during each visit; wooded areas and/or landscaping beds are not included.
How do I pay?
For security, we have you place a credit/debit card on file when you join us- we never see or have access to your card number. The mowing season in this area 1s 32 weeks- April – October. Your card is charged after each visit and you get a notification.
We understand that budgeting and planning for your lawn care services can be difficult, and that’s why we offer multiple payment options to best suit your needs.
Our Prepay option gives you the opportunity to save money overall if you pay for the entire year upfront.
Our 12 Interest-Free Monthly Payments option allows you to spread the cost of your annual rate over 12 months from the signup date. This way, you don’t have to worry about spiking payments during peak season.
Please note that we do not pro-rate for mid-year Prepay signups, and all annual agreements are 12 months from the day you signup. We hope this helps you budget for your lawn care services!
What is considered the mowing season?
The mowing season in this area 1s 32 weeks- April – October. Please check out the Service Calendar link at the top of the Home page.
What day do you mow?
Due to dynamic weather conditions, we cannot promise any certain weekday. Please understand that it can be difficult to plan around the Spring weather, but rest assured that our team works hard to ensure that your property looks great all season long. We will make every effort to stay on schedule and keep you informed of any changes. We plan to mow all properties by the end of Thursday. However, if we rain out a couple of days, we will be out on the weekend. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns!
What time of day do you mow?
Within Indianapolis, there is a noise ordinance from 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. the following day. We have no intention of mowing towards 10:00 p.m. but in Springs past, we’ve been there. New baby at home sleeping? LET US KNOW! Having a special occasion dinner party on a certain day? LET US KNOW!
Do we need to be home for the service?
You do not need to be present. We do not knock on the door or hang a door hanger on the knob. Our crews are fully equipped. WE DO HOWEVER need access through any gates. Please indicate how this is achieved when you sign up.
Do you notify us before you arrive?
No. Our customers have historically preferred fewer messages and emails. You will receive a notification after each service with a link to your Client portal where you can see before and after photos. Vacationing and rental property owners really like this feature.
Do I need to do anything to prepare?
Please try to keep your yard picked up from toys, hoses, balls, and dog poop. We are not responsible for any broken object that is left in the turf area. We try to avoid any personal artifacts that may have been forgotten in the yard but we cannot guarantee that we will see them.
When can you start after I sign up?
We strive to get you serviced within three days of signing up. If you signup during the latter part of the week, it will be the beginning of the following week.
How do you actually cut the grass?
We employ professional Gravely, Ex mark, Toro, and Honda mowers. We cut one-third of the length of the grass height. Generally, this means approximately 3 1/2″ in your area. We do not bag grass. If this is a must for you, we can bag and dispose of it for an additional fee.

| Underground Disclaimer | For de-thatching, aeration, mowing, and services with ride-on or ground penetrating machines, we are not liable for underground lines that we cannot see. We have never hit marked lines, but do hit unmarked lines occasionally. This could be cable lines, telephone lines, electrical lines, landscape lighting, irrigation lines and heads, etc. These need to be marked with flags along with sprinkler heads. |

| New Seed Disclaimer | For any property where we plant new grass seed, we will "skip" the weekly mowing service the following week so it has a better chance of growing. We will still stop by to pick up sticks and trash, check on the new seeds progress, keeping your position on the route. The weekly auto billing will be charged. We do not guarantee results and do not warranty seed growth. This service stops when our application of seed is completed. We cannot control mother nature or the consistency of watering by the property owner. |
| Inflation Disclaimer | All lawn care accounts may be subject to an annual price increase due to inflating costs. The price you see is good for 1 calendar year from January 1st to December 31st. Although we do everything in our power to keep prices down, sometimes we can't control them. This cost will be automatically added to your bill without notification unless the increase is over 7.5% then we will send a notification. This increase could happen a maximum of 1 time per calendar year before the start of the new season. You are also welcome to call in prior to the season beginning for your potentially new price. Due to inflating costs, MYLOS Lawncare has the right to add a surcharge for specialty products like grass seed, fungicides, etc. If a surcharge is enacted you will be notified and you can opt out of that service due to the surcharge. MYLOS Lawncare will add a $5 1X charge per invoice IF fuel prices exceed $4.25/gallon. |
| Instant Pricing Disclaimer | At MYLOS, we truly believe our number one priority is saving you time. We have invested more in technology than any other company in our area. We created an Instant Pricing Application database based on years of collecting time-based data in the field. We know how long it takes us to mow an area. Once we know your property size, our proprietary AI creates your quote. If our technology makes an error, we will honor the price it quotes until we provide you with an up-to-date quote. If you make changes to your yard- cut in new beds, add plants, fences, pools, ponds, etc, this quote will be adjusted at that time. |
| What is included | "Lawn Mowing" includes mowing the grass areas up to any beds such as flower, mulch, rock beds, gardens, etc. Bed Maintenance is a separate service not included in our lawn mowing service. |
